Baseball Game Preview: Central Valley Warriors vs. Hampton Talbots

The Central Valley Warriors will head out to square off against the Hampton Talbots at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Central Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Montour, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since April 7th.

Meanwhile, Hampton fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Moon Area on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Talbots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hampton's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
