Baseball Recap: High Tech NC Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

High Tech NC barely beat St. Joseph Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The High Tech NC Raptor blew past the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders 19-2 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raptor also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Dylan Shelton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 4-for-5. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Matthew Larkins was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Armando Dominguez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

High Tech NC always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Joseph Academy only posted an OBP of .182.
