Volleyball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against East Union last Thursday, Sierra came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Central Catholic Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Sierra actually scored more points across those five sets (100-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-19, 17-25, 17-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 7-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sierra will take on rival Manteca at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central Catholic is set to square off against their familiar foe East Union at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
