Baseball Game Preview: Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors vs. A+ Charter School Maricopa

The Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the A+ Charter School Maricopa at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tri-City Christian Academy is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Holy Family Academy. Tri-City Christian Academy blew past Holy Family Academy 9-3 on Tuesday.

Canaan Brady made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Brady was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Joel Miller was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Michael Brady, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, A+ Charter School's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. Neither they nor Our Lady of Sorrows could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw.
