Volleyball Recap: Wolfe County Find Success

Letcher County Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Wolfe County proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 3-2. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Naoma Noble paced Wolfe County's offense, picking up 33 kills. Noble got some help from Abigail Noble and her 51 assists. Finally, Naoma was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Wolfe County's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Letcher County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-12.

Wolfe County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Frederick Douglass on the 14th. Letcher County Central has also already played their next match (against Jenkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
