Uintah faced Ridgeline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Utes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverhawks. Uintah's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Izzie Lawson, who's now up to three this season.

Uintah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Ridgeline, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Uintah will venture away from home to face off against Provo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Uintah their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Ridgeline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ridgeline will need to watch out since Green Canyon have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
