Meanwhile, Hudsonville faced Muskegon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Hudsonville took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Muskegon. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Grand Haven's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Hudsonville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Grand Haven didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hudsonville in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 56-51 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grand Haven since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
