Landon Kidd posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
