Basketball Game Preview: Lee Academy Pandas vs. East Grand Vikings

The Lee Academy Pandas will square off against the East Grand Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Lee Academy and 12 for East Grand dating back to last season.

Lee Academy lost 48-25 to Central Aroostook on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Pandas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Panthers are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, East Grand was beaten by Wisdom 70-23 on Friday.

Lee Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for East Grand, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Lee Academy strolled past East Grand when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 42-23. Will Lee Academy repeat their success, or does East Grand have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
