Basketball Recap: Italy Takes a Loss

Italy lost against Wortham back in December of 2014 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Italy Gladiators fell to the Wortham Bulldogs 67-61.

Italy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record this season. As for Wortham, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Italy will take on Iredell in a tournament on Friday. As for Wortham, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mildred at 2:30 p.m. on December 31st.
