Volleyball Recap: Loganville Christian Academy Beats Walnut Grove for Their Third Straight Victory

Loganville Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Walnut Grove Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Loganville Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Maddie Husband paced Loganville Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Husband got some help from Summer Shambo and her 29 assists.

Loganville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Walnut Grove, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Loganville Christian Academy will challenge Hebron Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walnut Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clarke Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
