Norwalk is a perfect 6-0 against Dominguez since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Norwalk Lancers will venture away from home to square off against the Dominguez Dons at 3:15 p.m. Norwalk hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Norwalk managed to slip by Segerstrom the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Norwalk lost 9-0 to Segerstrom on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Dominguez unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Compton Early College on Wednesday, falling 21-6. The loss continues a trend for the Dons in their meetings with the Rising Phoenix: they've now lost four in a row.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Norwalk's way against Dominguez in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Norwalk made off with a 22-1 win. Will Norwalk repeat their success, or does Dominguez have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
