It was a good run, but Golden unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Chatfield Chargers. If the Demons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Chargers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Golden ultimately came up short, they really made Chatfield work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 22-25, 28-26.

Golden's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Chatfield, they moved to 6-5 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Golden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Columbine on the 2nd. As for Chatfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Arvada West on the 2nd.
