Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Monte Vista and Mount Miguel have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Monarchs came up short against the Matadors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on October 7th.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mount Miguel scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Monte Vista dropped their record down to 11-20 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mount Miguel, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 12-9.

As of now, neither Monte Vista nor the Matadors have any future games scheduled.
