Football Game Preview: Boyd County Lions vs. Blazer Tomcats

Boyd County hasn't had much luck against Blazer recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will host the Tomcats at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Boyd County took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Greenup County 49-7. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

Meanwhile, Blazer waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed past the Vikings to the tune of 54-0. The Tomcats pushed the score to 48-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vikings had no chance of recovering from.

Boyd County's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Blazer, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-2.
