Softball Recap: Turners Falls' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Turners Falls). They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on six straight.

Turners Falls pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turners Falls will head out to face off against Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they will face off against Taconic at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Mounties' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunder have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
