Soccer Game Preview: Richardson vs. MacArthur

The Richardson Eagles will take on the MacArthur Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Richardson and five for MacArthur.

Friday just wasn't the day for Richardson's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake Highlands on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Wildcats are ranked 68th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when MacArthur challenged Irving on Friday. MacArthur fell 3-1 to Irving.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Richardson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1.
