Volleyball Recap: Fall River Comes Up Short

Fall River lost against Portage back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Christina Geltemeyer, who had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Fall River's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Portage, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Fall River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Palmyra-Eagle on the 20th. As for Portage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Darlington on the 20th.
