Soccer Recap: Hoke County Comes Up Short

Hoke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Richmond Raiders, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Richmond this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in March.

Hoke County's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Richmond, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoke County will host Southern Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoke County's defense better be ready for this one: Southern Lee have averaged an impressive 4.7 goals per game this season. As for Richmond, they will welcome Union Pines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Pines will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Richmond surely won't give up without a fight.
