Westmont Hilltop entered their tilt with Hollidaysburg on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Golden Tigers with a sharp 10-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hilltoppers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Addy Dunbar made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Liz Veranese, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Lamya Stevens was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Westmont Hilltop always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hollidaysburg only posted an OBP of .312.

Westmont Hilltop pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hollidaysburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westmont Hilltop will take on Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hollidaysburg, they will face off against Tyrone at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
