Basketball Recap: DASH Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

DASH extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jason Judd. The United really took it to the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf Fighting Hornet for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-17 victory with plenty of help from Judd, who went 7-for-9 en route to 19 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 48.3% shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Edwards, who posted 11 points. He has also also been stellar as far as three-point shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

DASH's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, DASH won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fayetteville O at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Life Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8.
