            Volleyball Preview: Sierra Pacific Golden Bears vs. Kerman Lions        
        
		
        
        
            The Sierra Pacific Golden Bears will venture away from home to  square off against the Kerman Lions  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
Sierra Pacific took a loss when they played away from home  on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Selma with a sharp  3-0 victory. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Bears as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when Kerman challenged Washington Union on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Lions have posted  against the Panthers since October 21, 2021.
 Kerman never let Washington Union on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12,  25-22.
Kerman found their leader in freshman  Alicia Valle, who  had ten  digs and two assists.
 Kerman  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in four consecutive  contests.
 Sierra Pacific's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Kerman, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
 Sierra Pacific beat Kerman 3-1  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Bears since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
