Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist School Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Faith Baptist School duked it out withHolly Grove Christian on Tuesday. The Faith Baptist School Falcons came up short against the Holly Grove Christian Eagles, falling 44-23. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Despite the loss, Faith Baptist School still got an impressive performance from Kiersten Yates HS, who posted four points and five boards.

Cate Sterling was a one-woman wrecking crew for Holly Grove Christian as she went 9 for 21 on her way to 26 points and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Salvas, who had eight points and seven rebounds.

Faith Baptist School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Holly Grove Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
