Soccer Recap: Lutheran West Comes Up Short

Lutheran West managed to keep up with West Geauga until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Longhorns came up short against the Wolverines, falling 3-0. If Lutheran West were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to West Geauga when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Lutheran West and nudges their season record down to 4-3-2. As for West Geauga, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Lutheran West wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Cuyahoga Falls on the 13th. As for West Geauga, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Aurora on the 15th.
