Broomfield faced Fairview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Broomfield in their meetings with Fairview: they've now lost four in a row.

Broomfield's goal came courtesy of Tomi Giwa, who's now up to six this season.

Broomfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Fairview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-3.
