Volleyball Recap: Maplewood-Richmond Heights Comes Up Short

Maplewood-Richmond Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ritenour Huskies, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-17.

Leading Ritenour to victory were Elliot Neeb and James Chan. Neeb had four digs and four aces, while Chan had 13 digs and five aces. That's the most digs Chan has posted since back in May of 2024.

Maplewood-Richmond Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ritenour, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-1.

Maplewood-Richmond Heights has already played their next game (against Clayton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ritenour, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Fort Zumwalt North on the 9th.
