Baseball Recap: West Morgan Comes Up Short

West Morgan started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Vinemont. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Morgan saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Jones, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

West Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Vinemont, their win bumped their record up to 21-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Morgan will host Elkmont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Vinemont, they will take on Locust Fork at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
