Southern Wells has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Southern Wells lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaylee Davis, who posted 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Remi Holmes, who shot 57% from the field to rack up 16 points and five boards.
