Recap: Chadwick Cardinals vs. Everton Tigers
The Chadwick Cardinals stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 97-20 victory over Everton. Chadwick's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was James Grisham, who scored four points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Everton struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are winless (0-7) when they just don't pass the ball.
Chadwick's win was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Everton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chadwick will take on Hurley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Everton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Halfway at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Halfway is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
