North Eugene waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Eagle Point Eagles out 41-38. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

North Eugene now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Eagle Point, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Eugene will take on Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Springfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something North Eugene surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eagle Point, they will face off against Ashland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Point is facing Ashland at the right time seeing as Ashland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
