Basketball Recap: St. Francis Find Success

St. Francis won the last time they faced Cudahy, and Cameron Nerby did his part to make sure it happened again. The St. Francis Mariners walked away with a 76-65 victory over the Cudahy Packers on Tuesday thanks in part to Nerby, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 boards. Those 31 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Green, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 19 points along with five assists and three steals. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

St. Francis now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cudahy, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

St. Francis will face off against Kenosha Christian Life at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Cudahy, they will square off against Delavan-Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
