Preview: Seneca Indians vs. Central Rebels
The Seneca Indians are on the road again on Friday and play against the Central Rebels. One thing working in Seneca's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
Seneca had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past St. Pius X 41-17. Considering Seneca has won 11 matches by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Seneca had a senior duo take command as Jackson Marrs rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry and Gavyn Hoover rushed for 95 yards and three touchdowns. Marrs really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run.
Meanwhile, Central entered their tilt with Blair Oaks with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Central snuck past Blair Oaks with a 48-43 victory on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Their wins bumped Seneca to 13-0 and St. Pius X to 11-3.
