Basketball Preview: Hilliard Darby Panthers vs. Pickerington North Panthers
Hilliard Darby has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Pickerington North Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Hilliard Darby ended up a good deal behind the Braves and lost 57-38. While losing is never fun, Hilliard Darby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Braves are ranked third).
Meanwhile, Pickerington North was the victim of a rough 45-25 loss at the hands of the Greyhounds on Friday. Pickerington North has struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Hilliard Darby dropped their record down to 6-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pickerington North, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Hilliard Darby didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Panthers in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win.
