Licking Valley never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on the Northridge Vikings with a sharp 12-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Licking Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Northridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Licking Valley and Northridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Panthers will take on John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (42 vs. 485). Meanwhile, Northridge (ranked 159th) will meet Springfield (ranked 351st) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
