Soccer Game Preview: Austin Achieve vs. LBJ Austin

The Austin Achieve Polar Bears are taking a road trip to take on the LBJ Austin Jaguars at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for Austin Achieve and seven for LBJ Austin.

Austin Achieve came up short against Burnet on Friday, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, the Polar Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 730th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 203rd).

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for LBJ Austin's offense. They fell 2-0 to Florence on Tuesday.

Austin Achieve's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for LBJ Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1.

Austin Achieve might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from LBJ Austin in their previous matchup back in February. Can Austin Achieve avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
