Softball Recap: South Bend Adams Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for South Bend Adams's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Living Water Homeschool Marlins on Saturday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

South Bend Adams got a good showing from Mackenzie Miller, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Miller has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

South Bend Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Living Water Homeschool, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

South Bend Adams didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-1 loss against Elkhart on the 22nd. As for Living Water Homeschool, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Lawrence Central on the 19th.
