Basketball Recap: Central Academy Takes a Loss

Central Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Whitmore Lake Trojans and fell 67-19. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 606th, while the Trojans are ranked 261st).

Central Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Whitmore Lake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Academy will welcome Greenhills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Academy is facing Greenhills at the right time seeing as Greenhills is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Whitmore Lake, they will host Novi Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
