Basketball Recap: Terra Linda Comes Up Short

Terra Linda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santa Rosa Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly five points.

It was another big night for Arlo Mischke, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds for Santa Rosa. Mischke has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Weston Mohr was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight rebounds.

Terra Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Santa Rosa, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Terra Linda wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-40 victory against Ukiah on the 28th. As for Santa Rosa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-64 win against College Park on the 28th.
