After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeSales, Pomeroy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Cusick Panthers to the tune of 68-8. Considering the Pirates have won seven games by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kyzer Herres produced another solid performance rushing for 169 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. Wyatt Huwe was another key rusher, rushing for 69 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pomeroy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 310 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 202 rushing yards in eight consecutive contests.

Pomeroy's record now sits at 9-1. As for Cusick, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Pomeroy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-22 victory against Tulalip Heritage on the 15th. Cusick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
