It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Christians on the road and fell 58-29. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Florida School for the Deaf & Blind lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Kayla Debrow. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 55.2% of Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Tacarri Neal was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds for University Christian. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Neal has scored all season. Alanna Tatum was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for University Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind does not have any more games scheduled as of now. University Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against St. Joseph Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. St. Joseph Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully University Christian likes a good challenge.
