Basketball Recap: Wooddale Find Success

Wooddale won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Monday too. The Wooddale Cardinals slipped by the Hillcrest Vikings 53-52.

Ja?Coby Lewis and Alex Morgan certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Lewis posted 17 points, while Morgan earned 12 points. The contest was Lewis' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Risby, who put up six points.

The victory got Wooddale back to even at 3-3. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Wooddale will be playing at home against Germantown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hillcrest, they will venture away from home to take on Overton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hillcrest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
