Volleyball Game Preview: University Wildcats vs. Kennedy Cougars

The University Wildcats will face off against the Kennedy Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with University sitting on four straight victories and Kennedy on three.

University is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Marshall 3-2.

Grant typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Kennedy proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Lancers 3-2.

Kennedy took Grant into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-17, 25-21, 16-25, 15-8.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 31-9. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 20-6.

University took their win against Kennedy in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
