Lake View waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lake View got a massive performance out of Matthew Chico, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Chico has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Nathan Herrera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Lake View's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Steinmetz College Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lake View beat the Silver Streaks by a score of 16-0 on Wednesday.
