Basketball Recap: Pawnee Heights Comes Up Short

Pawnee Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 47-30 to the Kiowa County Mavericks. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Pawnee Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Kiowa County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.

Pawnee Heights will square off against Satanta on Thursday. Pawnee Heights is facing Satanta at the right time seeing as Satanta is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kiowa County, they will face off against South Central at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th.
