Vista del Lago has gone 7-2 against Bella Vista recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. Vista del Lago hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Vista del Lago managed to slip by Ponderosa the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Bruins on Monday, falling 11-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Vista del Lago saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Dossey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bella Vista made easy work of Rio Americano on Tuesday and carried off a 9-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won four in a row.

Bella Vista let Gianna Gambone and Taytum Thayne run wild. Gambone went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Thayne got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI Thayne has posted since back in March. Patcy Keizer was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Bella Vista always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rio Americano only posted an OBP of .333.

The victory got Bella Vista back to even at 12-12. As for Vista del Lago, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Vista del Lago was able to grind out a solid win over Bella Vista in their previous meeting on April 4th, winning 6-3. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
