Lakeland waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Antigo Red Robins 80-22. Given the Thunderbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Red Robins are ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeland's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.8 points. As for Antigo, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Lakeland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 93-36 win against Solon Springs on the 4th. Antigo has also already played their next contest, a 39-37 loss against Ashland on the 4th.
