Baseball Game Preview: St. James Sharks vs. West Forsyth Titans

The St. James Sharks will square off against the West Forsyth Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games St. James has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

St. James is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since March 25, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Catawba Ridge by a score of 3-1.

St. James got a good showing from Caleb Kessler, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth was able to grind out a solid win over Davie on Friday, taking the game 7-4. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the War Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Forsyth, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

St. James was able to grind out a solid win over West Forsyth in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, winning 11-8. Will St. James repeat their success, or does West Forsyth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
