Miller City had won five straight at home, but on Saturday they bumped up to 16-6 to make it six. They put the hurt on the Lincolnview Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cloe Kuhlman paced Miller City's offense, picking up ten kills. Kuhlman got some help from Sophia Ruck and her 15 assists. Finally, Anna Schnipke kept Miller City's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

As for Lincolnview, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 20th.

Lincolnview's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Beth Hughes, who had 12 digs and three assists. Hughes has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Coming up, Miller City will be playing in front of their home fans against Holgate at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincolnview, they will take on Coldwater in a tournament on Thursday.
