Daniel came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the West-Oak Warriors 90-40. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Daniel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Simms Disbrow, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 20 points and five assists. Will Swann was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 16 points and three steals.

Disbrow wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Daniel was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

West-Oak's loss came despite strong showings from Kash Adams and Harry Burgess. Adams went 6 for 15 on his way to 17 points, while Burgess posted 11 points. Burgess has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Daniel is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for West-Oak, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Daniel will welcome Greer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Daniel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Greer likes a good challenge. As for West-Oak, they are taking a road trip to square off against Belton-Honea Path at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Belton-Honea Path will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something West-Oak surely won't give up without a fight.
