Spring Hill is 9-1 against Ottawa since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Spring Hill Broncos will face off against the Ottawa Cyclones. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Spring Hill has nine straight wins, Ottawa has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Spring Hill beat Louisburg 72-60. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Wildcats are ranked 227th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ottawa was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 45-40 to Bonner Springs.

Spring Hill pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points over those games. As for Ottawa, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Spring Hill was able to grind out a solid win over Ottawa when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 48-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spring Hill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
